ABOUT ME

I'm Danny Rafael Ebrey, born in Portsmouth in 1995. I grew up and lived there until aged 18 I began studying in Bournemouth for a 4 year human science and chiropractic masters degree at the AECC health sciences university. After graduating and working back home in Portsmouth briefly, I started clinic work in Eastleigh and moved to Southampton city centre, and then most recently to the West end area with my wife
In mid 2021 after the initial major covid lockdown, with less job security and after hearing a number of my clients talk about bad experiences with other clinics, I got the idea to start my own venture. I realised there was increased demand for mobile services, and also for less rushed comprehensive treatments with more than one therapy. From January 2022, patient by patient I gradually began building my own style and business along side my job as a clinic practitioner. By spring 2025 I quit clinic work and went full time with DRE Chiropractic and Wellbeing, thanks to the backing of my clients and demand for my style

I'm passionate about health and wellbeing in my own time

Having a dad from an English farming background and a mother from a small tropical island has given me a strong sense of gratitude for my opportunities, a warm easy going personality, yet a no nonsense approach to work which is reflected in my treatments, and thus my client's reviews
Outside of work I love spending time with family. I'm interested in sports particularly football, rugby and boxing. I've participated in all the above in the past but these days due to my work, I just mainly go to the gym a couple/ few times a week. I mostly train with weights for strength, and try to do some (probably not enough!) cardio too
I'm a big foodie and enjoy trying/cooking a wide range of foods from around the world. Some of my random favourite world cuisines are German, Nigerian, Lebanese, Korean, Argentinian and South African foods. Hard to beat good old English food though, especially when it's cold!

I also enjoy reading, videogames, and am currently gradually learning French and German as a personal long term challenge. For those who speak/are learning too, any practice during treatments is welcome!
